Rusmat Khan, a native of Kalar Budhal, Kahuta, Rawalpindi, served with the 57th Wilde’s Rifles (Frontier Force), Indian Army, on the North West Frontier of India in 1908, and subsequently during the Great War on the Western Front. He died on 28 October 1914 and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
