James Wathan attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and was evacuated from Dunkirk in June 1940 whilst serving with ‘B’ Company, 1st Battalion.

Sold with two group photographic images of the Company in which the recipient is identified; and copied medal roll extract.
