Coronation 1911, Metropolitan Police (P.C., E. Diplock.); Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (4), G.V.R., 2nd issue (2) (Leonard Charter-Stare.; Edgar C. Giles.); G.VI.R., 1st issue (2) (Dowling L. Cottrell; George P. Crosier) good very fine (5) £80-£100

Edward Diplock was born in 1886 and served as a Police Constable with the Metropolitan Police. He was dismissed from the Metropolitan Police, with effect from 1 August 1919; it is probable that Diplock was one of those who took part in the police strike of that summer. He died in 1963.

Leonard Charter-Starte served as a Special Constable with the Norfolk Special Constabulary

Dowling Locke Cottrell served as a Special Constable with Birmingham City Police C.I.D.
