Opening, 1843, white metal medals (5), unsigned (by W. Griffin), Wapping stairway, rev. Rotherhithe stairway, 35mm (BHM 2131); by T. Halliday, bust of Brunel left, rev, tunnel, two pedestrians to left, pedestrian and man on horseback to right, 60mm (BHM 2132); by W.J. Taylor (3), similar, rev. Rotherhithe stairway, 48mm (BHM 2136), similar (2), signed and unsigned, rev. tunnel, two pedestrians to left, horse and cart to right, both 38mm (BHM 2140) [5]. Very fine or better, fourth pierced £80-£100
