Alexander III (1249-1286), First coinage, Sterling, type VIII, Berwick, Walter, w[al] ter ber wik, pelleted crown, 1.55g/3h (SCBI 35, 166 and B 13, fig. 89, same obv. die; S 5048). Weak in places, good fine, reverse better, the combination of dies extremely rare £200-£260
