William the Lion (1165-1214), Crescent and Pellet coinage, Phase II, Sterling, Phase II, Roxburgh (or Berwick?), Raul Derling, bust left with wide crown and holding sceptre with cross pommée sceptre-head, le rei wilam, rev. rav[l de]rlig :·:, short cross pattée with crescent and pellet in each angle, 1.33g/7h (SCBI 35, 16ff; cf. B 18,19, figs. 38, 38A; S 5024). On a slightly small flan (but reasonable weight), nearly very fine £400-£500
