Robert II (1371-1390), Groat, Phase 3/4 mule, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, normal ‘Robert II’ head, tressure of six arcs, trefoils in spandrels, nothing on sceptre-handle, saltire behind head, no line below bust, double crosslet stops, nothing after scotorv’, crescent and crosslet after dns, plain a both sides, 2.99g/9h (Richardson 356, no.15; SCBI 35, –; B 5a, fig. 324A, same dies; S 5133). Clipped, nearly very fine, very rare £200-£300
