Robert II (1371-1390), Sterling, Edinburgh, mm. cross potent on obv. only, with saltire on sceptre handle, reads scotor, rev. vill aed inbv rgh, no stops either side, 0.98g/6h (cf. SCBI 35, 493; B 10, fig. 323, same obv. die; S 5146). Very fine and rare thus £200-£300

The coin is from an obverse die which was used at both Edinburgh and Perth, although not the die link mentioned in Scottish Mints (p.282, link 36b).
