Daniel Lannery was born in Dublin around 1874 and originally enlisted in the Dublin City Artillery on 7 September 1899. Transferred to the Royal Garrison Artillery 28 November 1899, he served in France with the Army Pay Corps from 3 May 1915; Lannery later applied for the GSM and clasp on 8 July 1926, his address recorded as 3 Avonmore Terrace, Dublin.

Mohammed Afzal served with the Military Accounts Department during operations in Waziristan from 1921-24.

Martin James Roberts was born in St. Agnes, Cornwall, on 21 December 1890. He initially served as Private during the Great War with The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment and later transferred to the Royal Army Pay Corps (Board of Trade - Labour Department, South Western Division). He died at home on 4 November 1918 and is buried at Portsmouth (Kingston) Cemetery, Hampshire.
