William Martin Jones attested into the Royal Artillery and served in Palestine during the post Second War campaign. After discharge, he attested into 279 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (Territorial Army), on 26 September 1949 and was discharged on 25 September 1951.

Raymond Herve was born on 25 February 1943. He attested into the Royal Artillery and served in Borneo during the Emergency. Discharged on 9 April 1971, he died in Bridgend in 2003.
