Anthony Francis Tuczek was born in Wandsworth, London in March 1922. He was the son of Nikolaus Francis Tuczek and Gertrude Frances Hill. Tuczek served during the Second World War as a an Air Gunner/Wireless Operator with 98 Squadron (Mitchells), who from the second part of 1944 where increasingly involved in tactical bombing in support of the Allied armies on the continent. After the war Tuczek served as part of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan. He committed suicide at Herne Bay, Kent in January 1948.
