Place BidCurrency Commission, Royal Bank of Ireland, £5, 6 May 1929, serial number 01RK000001, Brennan and Stanley signatures, previously mounted, in PMG holder 53, about uncirculated, a truly wonderful note in fabulous condition, extremely rare in any grade, indeed this being the sole example graded by PMG, interestingly this note is actually rarer than the £10 with a mere 15 or so examples extant, an astonishing ‘true first’ serial number 1 as well, one of the finest Irish banknotes you are ever likely to see
