A late 19th century Irish gold Claddagh ring, the bezel modelled as hands clasping a crowned heart, the band hallmarked for 18ct gold, Dublin 1896, maker’s mark ‘T.D’, the reverse of the bezel inscribed ‘From Clare 1897’, ring size N. £500-£700

Good condition, general light surface wear throughout. Band stamped ‘18ct’, hallmark comprising Hibernia mark for Dublin, unicorn for 18ct gold and date letter for 1896. Gross weight 6.7gm.
