A sapphire and diamond ring, set with an oval-cut sapphire, weighing 7.56 carats, between shoulders set with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, stamped ‘750’, total diamond weight approximately 1.15 carats, ring size L - M. £2,200-£3,000

Accompanied by a report from Emil Gem Laboratory (Japan) stating that the sapphire is natural. Report number 43011, dated 21 September 2009.
Sapphire measures very approximately 13.5 x 10.6 x 5.0mm. Sapphire with very good transparency, some zoning evident at certain angles and some fingerprint inclusions to one side (reflecting) - some small chips to girdle area evident under 10x magnification. Sapphire very slightly loose in setting, indistinct. Diamonds bright and lively, some nibbling evident under 10x magnification. Overall very good condition. Gross weight 6.4gm.
