Collings & Walter. A gold half-hunting cased pocket keyless watch, 1896.
Movement:
gilded three quarter plate, lever escapement, no. 14426.
Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds.
Case: 18ct gold, gold cuvette, glazed aperture, blue enamel Roman numerals, maker’s mark AB, London hallmark for 1896.
Signed: movement signed Collings & Walter.
Dimensions: diameter 50mm. £2,400-£3,600

Movement: running at the time of cataloguing.
Dial: small crack to the edge between X and XI.
Case: cuvette catching the case back, lacking the inside glass to the dial. Scuffs throughout, small indentations to the rear cover.
Gross weight: 119.3gm.
