An early 20th century pearl and diamond pendant, French, set with two old cushion-shaped diamonds suspending an openwork drop of palmette design, set with a central pearl, measuring 6.7 x 6.8 x 5.4mm, the surround set with old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, suspending a further cushion-shaped diamond and pear-shaped pearl drop, measuring 7.4 x 6.6 x 8.4mm, to a cable-link chain, mounted in platinum and gold, French assay marks, numbered ‘2556’ or ‘2558’, fitted case, total diamond weight approximately 2.50 carats, pendant length 6cm. £4,000-£6,000
Accompanied by a written report from GCS confirming the pearls are of natural saltwater origin. Report number 5786-2151, dated 16 April 2026.
