Longines. A stainless steel wristwatch, ‘Tre Tacche’, circa 1935.
Movement:
cal. 10.68Z, manual winding, 15 jewels, no. 5343860.
Dial: silvered, Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds.
Case: stainless steel, screw-down back, no. 1193 126.
Signed: dial and movement.
Dimensions: diameter 30mm.

These early Longines time only wristwatches are known for their durable robust designed cases and simple readable dial which was utilised by the military. They have been given the ‘tre tacche’ nickname by Italian collectors, it refers to the three notches to the heavy steel screw-down back.

Movement: running at the time of cataloguing.
Dial: some spotting.
Case: scuffs throughout, indentations to the bezel.
Gross weight: 38.9gm.
