Smiths. A stainless steel Military wristwatch with centre seconds, circa 1969.
Movement:
cal. 60464E, manual winding, 17 jewels (hack feature missing), inner anti-magnetic cap.
Dial: black, Arabic numerals, triangular and baton markers, outer track, centre seconds, military broad arrow.
Case: stainless steel, screw-down back with military coding, issue number/year and broad arrow, fixed bars.
Signed: dial.
Dimensions: diameter 35mm. £400-£600

Smiths were awarded the contact to supply watch to the British Government in 1966. The watches were supplied to helicopter pilots, paratroopers and tank crews.

Movement: running at the time of cataloguing, the hack feature is missing, it may have been removed.
Dial: in good condition, very small hole in the luminous material of the hour hand.
Case: scuffs throughout and some small indentations. Back engraved - WIO6645-99-961-4045 3206/69.
Gross weight: 42.2gm.
