An Austrian white enamel snuff box, Vienna, early 20th century, of rectangular form, decorated throughout with matt white enamel, the hinged lid centred with a pierced oval framing a Trophy of Love motif, highlighted in rose-cut diamonds, the parcel gilt interior engraved with presentation inscription in Russian cursive script translating as: ‘To the ruler of my heart, October 1918’, stamped maker’s mark ‘I S’, and ‘Diana’ head mark for 1872-1922, 900 standard, dimensions 9 x 6.1cm. £200-£300
