A Victorian silver travelling hair styling case, of rectangular form, the exterior relief decorated with scrolling foliage, the fitted interior containing silver mounted curling tongs, with alcohol burner, flask and funnel, by Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1899, the internal metal frame stamped ‘E P, Paris’, length 17cm. £200-£300

Sears Catalogue No 104, 1897 (New York) featured a similar hair curling set, with alcohol lamp for curling iron.

Good condition; very little used, if at all.
