Movement:
gilded full plate, lever escapement, engraved balance cock, no. 14945.
Dial: gilt, engine-turned, Roman numerals, engraved floral motif.
Case: 18ct gold, engraved scroll and floral decoration to the rear cover, maker’s mark RB GM, London hallmark for 1849.
Signed: dial and movement.
Dimensions: diameter 36mm.
Together with a 9ct gold chain.

Movement: runs for a short time then stops.
Dial: scuffs and wear to the numerals.
Case: scuffs throughout, decoration worn. Engraved initials to the rear cover ‘MC’.
Gross weight of watch: 42gm.
Gross weight of chain: 5.5gm.
