A Medieval silver and amethyst pendant, circa 13th - 14th century, the oval cabochon amethyst within a closed flat back scalloped silver setting, with a simple suspension loop, length 18.1mm, weight 1.9gm. £300-£400

Gross weight 1.9gm.
According to a PMI test on the XRF Analyzer, the ring is testing as 94.5% silver with traces of gold, iron, copper, lead and bismuth.
The amethyst is pale but quite even in colour, with internal fissures, including a surface reach fissure running vertically up the right side of the stone (facing).
The mount shows general wear, but the scalloped teeth are fine. Some scuffing, scratches and shallow dents to the reverse.
