Æthelred II (978-1016), Penny, Agnus Dei type [BMC X], possibly Stamford, Æscwig, Agnus Dei standing right, ag nv on tablet below, rev. dove with outspread wings flying upward, 0.69g/12h (Keynes and Naismith 18, same dies(?); N 776; S 1156). A central fragment, about fine, the remaining metal stable with no cracks, very rare £400-£600
