Merlen, bust left, georgius iv dei gratia, date below, rev. britanniarum rex fid def, small lion above crown, rose, thistle and shamrock below, edge grained, 5.00g/6h (ESC 2418). Surface metal fault by lowest lock of King’s hair, somewhat hairlined and marked, otherwise extremely fine and brilliant, exceptionally rare [removed from a certified NGC holder (6897650-002), labelled PF 63 Cameo] £4,000-£5,000
