Extremely fine and much as made, in all probability UNIQUE £500-£1,000

Charles Wiener (1832-88), the Belgian medallist, had a peripatetic career, including spells at the mints in Paris (1852-6), London (1862-4, where he served as assistant engraver under Leonard Wyon and lived at 88 Ebury street), Lisbon (1864-7) and finally Brussels
