Arthur Lander, another member of the Special Service Squadron of the 21st Lancers, raised at Tidworth in June 1916, was taken P.O.W. at Beugny on 23 March 1918, while attached to the 10th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment - in common with other members of the Squadron, he had been allocated to an infantry role in August 1917.
