NOONANS EXPANDS ITS GLOBAL NETWORK FURTHER
Following the inaugural auction in Singapore in March 2023, Noonans has expanded its global network of expertise and service with the opening of a new branch in Canada.
Based to the south of Ottawa in Ontario, the branch will handle consignments from all over North America under the management of Tanya Ursual, a highly experienced numismatist and celebrated medal specialist who has handled numerous important collections over her 30-year career and already has long established links with Noonans.
Among other notable achievements, Tanya created one of the internet’s first user-friendly, fully functional military source websites, www.medalsofwar.com. She is present at many of the international military shows and regularly conducts appraisals for national museums and evaluations for private collections.
Under Tanya’s direction, the Canada branch offers a broad range of expertise, from Jewellery and Coins to Banknotes.
“I am pleased to expand my relationship with Noonans Mayfair and to now oversee all of their consignments from North America,” she says. “I am able to travel directly to consigning clients, provide an itemized list of all material, oversee the secure packaging and insured shipments to London all while seamlessly navigating the complexities of customs and other logistics.
“My long-standing consignment experience, my knowledge of medals and my warm, steadied, organised approach will make getting your collection to Noonans, a smooth process.”
The Singapore branch opened in 2022 to coincide with the announcement of a series of auction to be held by Noonans, including the celebrated Frank Goon Collection of Banknotes from the region of British Malaya.
The Singapore branch is managed by Terence Noe, with Noonans’ auctions held at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
