NOONANS MAYFAIR announce medal sale auction schedule for 2024

Noonans Mayfair – the UK’s leading auctioneers of Orders, Decorations, Medals, and Militaria have announced their Auction Calendar for 2024.

As Oliver Pepys, Auctioneer and Medal Specialist (Associate Director) Noonans commented: “2023 has again been a strong year for the Noonans Medal department, with the sale of over 6,500 lots already this year, with two auctions still to come. The highest prices achieved have been for a fine Great War ‘Western Front’ Victoria Cross awarded to Sergeant Arnold Loosemore that sold for a hammer price of £220,000 in July, and in the same sale; an ‘Operation Herrick IX - Afghanistan’ Conspicuous Gallantry Cross that sold for a hammer price of £160,000, which was a World Record Price for a C.G.C at auction.”
