Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford Mint, Pound, a later silver plated electrotype, 1643/2, Oxford plume on obv. only, small Shrewsbury horseman riding over arms and armour, including cannon, Oxford plume behind, rev. Declaration, mark of value and three Oxford plumes above, date below, group of seven pellets before legend, 91.35g/4h (cf. Morr. B-1; cf. SCBI Brooker 863A; cf. N 2398; cf. S 2940). Better than very fine, some surface scratches £150-£200
