Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Continental series E, Secondary issue, porcupine-like figure with basic zoomorphic features (singular eye), curve of body flanked on outside by pelleted line, enclosing ‘iii’ rev. standard with ‘tiil’ arranged around central annulet, 0.78g (cf. SCBI Abramson 252/258; cf. Noonans 288, 48; Abramson 96-10; S 790D). Better than very fine, the obverse particularly well centred £90-£120
