Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary Series, Eclectic Issue, c. 710-60, voided cross ancrée [formed of four hearts], various pellets around, border of two linear and on pelleted lines, rev. beaded saltire, trefoil of pellets in each angle, all within beaded standard, 1.20g/12h (SCBI Abramson 727; BNJ 2000 Coin Register, 63, this coin; N –; S 833A). Extremely fine, well centred, superb surfaces; very rare thus £500-£600
