Kings of Mercia, Burgred, Penny, Phase IIb [V2/A], struck by the moneyer Berheah, draped and diademed bust right, central panel of drapery comprising four wedges and three pellets, +bvrgred rex– around, starting behind the king’s head, rev. hmon / +berhea / eta, the upper and lower lines housed within closed lunettes, pelletes 1/1/1/1, 1.15g/6h (MacKay Burgred, V2.5, this coin; N 426; S 941B). Good very fine, but the edge rather chipped £300-£400
