(b)], struck from West Midlands dies by the moneyer Frothgar, +eadred re around small cross, rev. froð / ric m in two lines divided by ++O, cross of pellets above and below, 1.45g/3h (CTCE 214; SCBI BM 671, same dies; N 709/1; S 1113). Hairline stress mark on obverse, otherwise good very fine, light tone; the variant extremely rare £800-£1,000
