19th Century Tokens, SHROPSHIRE, Dawley, Gilbert Gilpin, Shilling, 1811, legend around sells chains for pits cranes &c, etc, rev. boar running right, edge grained, 3.89g/1h (D 1; W 718, same obv. die). Tiny reverse edge nick at 3 o’clock, otherwise about extremely fine, extremely rare; one of the classic tokens in the series £1,000-£1,500
