The Uniform Coinage of India, British Imperial Period, George VI, silver Quarter-Rupee, 1945, type C/V [Prid. type II], Bombay, crowned bust left, short trefoils in crown, george vi king emperor, rev. 1/4 rupee india in unseriffed letters, large 5 in date below, chahar ana [Four Annas] surrounded by ornate scroll containing rose, thistle and shamrock, lotus flowers above and below, bead below lower rounded lotus, broad border decoration both sides, security edge, 2.88g/12h (Prid. 470 [Sale, lot 154]; SW 9.97; KM. 547; cf.
