Peter holds a revered position in the world of coins, tokens and art medals. He’s secretary of the British Numismatic Society, a member of the executive committee of the International Association of Professional Numismatists and the author of many books, catalogues and articles on the subject.

After many years at the Spink auction house he joined DNW, now Noonans, in 2000. Since then he’s played a major role in establishing our company as the UK’s leading auction arena for post-1870 world art medals and British tokens of all types. Respected by numismatics aficionados around the world, Peter has catalogued and sold many significant private collections. He’s one of our auctioneers at Noonans.
